Car age won’t necessarily matter for insurance price. But if you get a cheapo car then you can get just liability insurance and that’ll be cheaper. It means if you damage it and it’s your fault they won’t repair it but you are covered to drive as they’ll pay for whatever damage you do to others.
here’s some from my bookmarks that should help with finding cheap quotes if you need it:
just fill in the form, get the quote then you can back up, enter another car type and so on. You may have one browser session on the insurance and another on craigs list and get quoted on any car you fancy, check all insurance prices on each car so you don’t get any bad surprises later on.
