Safeco is trash! Won't cover you if you have guns if you're renting (when I used to rent) and when I was leaving to change car insurance the saucy guy on the phone said I owe money. How when I was current and canceled before my last payment? Customer service is trash, coverage is trash, just look at real people's reviews, I should have!

Sad State Farm in California is not a good idea. They are the worst

As a consumer advocate I can only tell you what companies I have experience with. This is a warning to stay away from Allstate home insurance. They screwed me and my family big time by refusing to pay for a hail damaged roof. They will try to change the definition of what really happened to favor them. Anything not to pay. Auditors didn't show up on appt dates and never bothered to call. Elongating claim time is another tactic they often use. They contract auditors on a system that the more the auditor denies the more jobs they get. Allstate is a very corrupt company. They denied me twice telling me that my massive granule loss off the tile caused by the hail storm was wear and tear over time. After this storm there were large piles of granules at the down spots and the guttering was full of granules. This definitely decreased the integrity and the ability to withstand harsh weather. I am now stuck paying this repair myself. Thanks allstate for screwing my family over and lieing about wear and tear over time.

I do. I have Gieco for my car. in NYC they can't be beat with price. when I needed to get renters insurence I just figured I would get a discount if I got a bundle. And it did. and with my move to a new state I pay less for both my car and truck and renters than I did in NYC just for my car
