I dropped them as an insurance company years ago only to have them charge me for firing them. You might as well give money away for no reason and then give even more away.

I am so stressed with the virtual estimate I have to do taking a trillion pictures of my car, making a short video etc. The make me use their app and want you to use portrait mode and when I do the screen goes blank. All to make things easier for THEM. At this rate it's going to take a fricken year for me to get a check for a deep scratch on the side of my car.

I deleted my previous comments. Sorry to the replies. Not sure what I was hearing here originally, but the only reason the quarter has to now be replaced was because the shop cut the access hole, and very likely the only way to replace the quarter is to cut into the roof line to do so. So yes, it is a total loss, but only because the Progressive estimate (supposedly) asked them to cut the access hole. My money here is the shop did it before the estimate was written, but I don't know. Progressive would have then paid them for that and the quarter has to be replaced now. If the original Progressive estimate called for an access hole to be cut, that adjuster made a huge mistake, or doesn't know what they are doing. The original damage looks like 6-8H repair fair time and all the disassembly required. Also, a recycled door is probably less than repairing the outer panel in labor. If the door is like $300, and the shop is asking for 12H of repair, it may be better to replace it.

Worked with the body shop. They lowered their estimate, and I kept my truck. Everyone was happy.

Yep…. Today I was also scammed Bu my progressive agent named Rita Young. Complete lack of integrity within this company. They are scammers at the core. I would suggest to everyone I know to stop paying Progressive because they will scam you.

I got screwed on my roof. Pay for full coverage with a 1000 dollar deductible and I'm having to pay 1400 out of pocket for the roof replacement because they refuse to cover the full cost. Switching providers. DO NOT USE PROGRESSIVE THEY ARE A SCAM COMPANY

My car should’ve been totaled but they fixed it. Damages kept going up from 7k to 11k, and again up to 13k. I paid 16k. So far it’s been a 3 month process

Its better to be total loss. They need to pay u to but the car at dealer. Your car can be in the shop for 6 months.

A object flow off a truck and hit my car. Front bumper and passenger right rear door was damage. Progressive took care of the claim within 5 days. Car is fixed and back on the road.. and yes they worked with the body shop that I picked which was the dealership body shop. Body shop gives first estimate then took the car in for repair 2 weeks later. Turns out it cost more than the first estimate that was given and Progressive took care of it. Of course I paid the deductible which was $500 and it was a comprehensive coverage

What happened? Write the president

Progressive Insurance are CROOKS!

Progressive is shit. They cancelled my insurance because I used my roadside assistance TWO times and are trying to charge me AFTER they cancelled me randomly! I got the letter in the mail and called them and that was my first notice. They told me I have to pay the 50$ or I’m going to collections. I have a WEEK before they do it! NEVER EVER USE PROGRESSIVE!!!!!

Why did you call in a claim, and not just pay for it out of your pocket? Was this a cause of Mother Nature? Or a catastrophic loss?
