you won’t get a ticket if a cop did not witness you
yes it will if it was claimed to ur insurace
If the cops arrived took down your info, and the car had to be repaired its on your record even if you didn’t get a ticket.

if your insurance company paid any damages to you or the other party, it will affect your new insurance rates. No need to try to hide it though, they will contact your old company as a matter of course. But if no payments from the old company were made, and no citations were issued it should not affect the rates at all. I was an insurance agent for 15 years.
