  1. 6 years later there’s no change, if anything they’ve gotten worse. Problem is Insurance companies got lobbies to keep state & federal government from doing anything about it.

  2. Geico,Allstate,State Farm, Farmers and Safeco are the worst. They don't give a rip about you're safety. Just there money. It's disgusting. Only one company stands out for me. USAA is the only insurance company that pays correct and provides OEM Parts every time. That's a 15yr Body Tech Opinion. Never compromise. Stay true. I've worked for free multiple times to make sure my repairs are safe. Top 2 WORST INSURANCE Oregon. GEICO AND ALLSTATE.

  3. I have yet to find a body shop Or Insurance company that installs New dealer parts to all its cars What i have seen is bills for new parts And Orders for used parts And Chinese aftermarket parts installed and painted over And Or labels that ID them as such removed. The new part sits in storage And is returned for ether money sent back to the Bodyshop Or credit towards the next part And if they are caught Oh we must of installed it by mistake we had another car just like your car here Must of had the parts switched in the paper work some how Sorry about that 99% of people don't look at parts Or able to spot a diffrence It's only when the part fails do they question it And by then They think they have to much time gone by to head back….This video is doing the blame game on who gets to cut corners And make the extra profit… They both do

  4. If people would slow down and not drive with a chip or road rage on their shoulders then there will not be any car accidents drunk driver road rage drive cellphones drive drugs drive fools drive people who can’t drive

  5. Theres factory tabs sold seperately to repair headlight
A repaired headlight on tabs is totally acceptable as long as its no leaking and have moisture inside the lens

  6. Been going on for years, got worse the last 20 years and in last 10 really bad. Is not going to change and never will. And these investigations have also beeen going on for years. It brings a little heat on for a while but in the end just fizzels out. Ins.company takes a gamble on public image damage ,gets through it and back to the same ole song and dance.

  7. At Crystals Auto Body in Florida was hitting a rear and not properly put on a frame straightener and was not squared and was off buy a quarter of an inch and should have been totaled by the insurance company but because of the car being a numbered 36 out of 1000 the car would have been impossible to replace at a high valued car and Progressive the insurance company did not see fit to pay out the claim or total the car at the time it would have been cheaper to fix it then total the Irreplaceable value of number car number 36 SRT8 6.1 l Hemi Super Bee B5 blue charger limited edition 2008 total value $48,000,I payed $27 ,000

  9. some guy rear ended me and his state farm insurance is gonna pay to get my bmw fixed. it’s not that bad damage but the whole back of my car needs to get fixed now and it kinda messed up my blinkers in the computer. My question is, can i request to get it repaired at an actual BMW repair shop? or is that not possible. because he was completely at fault and bmws are tricky to fix.

  10. I was an auto body tech both body and paint tech and even owned my own body shop . I was in it 30 pluss years I got out insurance companies were trying to run my business as see fit or else so I got out pretty sad.
