Sorry – dear – you're giving bad advice. Each of the Medicare Supplemental plans needs to be evaluated based upon whether it is an "ATTAINED AGE" plan or an "ISSUE AGE PRICING" plan because the plans price out differently every year – Attained Age plans end up being the MOST EXPENSIVE plans when you are older, but are least expensive when you are younger. If someone can afford the premiums of an "ISSUE AGE PRICING" plan when they sign up – their premiums will have the minimal increases over time.

I’m in Suffolk County New York and I just got quoted for plan F orG 217 monthly from United Health Care,is that a high number.The prescription D plan same company 100 per month.

Medicare is a scam. Arrive at 65 and found I’m still prisioner to private insurance greeeeeed.
You reach 65, and you’re gonna still be pillaged by private insurance companies.
You want republicans, pay w you’re wallet, a lot. Be a prisioner to the 1%.

AARP/United Healthcare was the only Plan G provider I could find that included Renew Active (Silver Sneakers type benefit). No other Plan G provider I found offered that.

Can the rates jump up after the first year?

Excellent education. I am a physician and just about to retire. I was really surprised to find out how much I did not know about the Medicare supplement plans.

Believe it or not, United American Insurance Company has the most stable rates out there. They aren't the cheapest upfront but they rarely increase their rates. I've had some people on their supplement plans for over 20 years. They love it and never complain. Check it out.
