  1. Neal Parker died when the injector hat was ripped off by the net and hit him.
Scott died from hitting a concrete filled post and unoccupied camera crane in the shut down area.

  2. @popz01251947 old bridge raceway is a piss poor track. the safety features that the track presents is what they have if the drivers think that the track is unsafe they don't have to race there is no way that the track can be extended because of a road that runs behind the track scot did because or his own system failure and so did neal parker bolth of the deaths did not occur because of the track but of the race crews failure

  3. Pro drag racing is dangerous kids…. people die. But I agree they should improve the end safety stop areas …. Restrictor plates ala NASCAR to limit HP and speed? However when they lose control, blow up it can end ugly. They know they can die doing this.

  4. @Narutofan1000k Not if the emergency stop is not sudden like the nets and barrels are the way they are.. A carrier jet pilot gets stopped from about 200 mph to 0 in a few seconds and sure there are G forces but the pilot does not die. The nets need to be redesigned and I have a good idea but NHRA won't talk to anyone, they have all the answers. As long as they do, people like Neil will die from stupidity.

  5. @popz01251947 well the problem with what you want is that the g forces involved in an emergency stop will be about -14 g's, enough to kill you 2 times over

I am sorry about Neal, your friend but, the official NHRA Net System sucks and needs to be updated with something that won't crush a car but catch it and slow it down to 0 MPH and keep the driver alive. Getting to talk to NHRA is like trying to talk to the President
So, NHRA won't do anything to fix the problem.
