Question! What if I bring the car to you for repair and the insurance cut you a check that is way below what it takes to do the repair properly? Basically the insurance is giving you the same amount as they would give to one of their DRP auto shops. What then? This is assuming that insurance company is liable 100% for the damage to my car, so naturally I would want my car to be restored to a pre-accident condition and the insurance would have to cover 100% cost.
Insurance companies have "favorite" shops that pay them for their business that is the bottom line. I don't know how auto body shops make a living dealing with the insurance mafia. Remember you can't say the word "INSURANCE" in a court of law. Anytime I see a Progressive or Allstate commercial I want to hurl. Even small insurance companies do this. Good video.
