  1. Free money being distributed may eventually lead to inflation, but a greater risk is deflation. Because where will the demand come from to drive inflation? Homes , stocks, luxury products will have few customers. The current situation in Real estate and stocks will soon end. IMO. Look at commodity markets and see deflation big time currently.

  2. Airlines shouldn't be bailed out AT ALL!
During this pandemic crisis and statewide travel restriction/shutdown, they refuse to give out refunds for people that booked their flights earlier in the year due to health and safety reasons and instead they offer a flight credit to be use later on.
Imagine having literally thousands worth of flight credit that is just sitting there doing nothing!! during this pandemic with no vaccines in sight AND has an expiration date of 6mo-1yr attach to it.

  3. Stupid video… a homeowner can get forbearance ( homeowner could have stashed 12 months payments instead they splurged on cars etc similar to airlines doing buy backs). Back in 2008 it was banks own doing. This time airlines did nothing wrong. By the way Delta and Southwest dis not even touch the bailout money. When homeowners can be bailed out(sort of) then why not airlines??(to protect jobs). Where is free housing market for those who want to buy??

  4. I’d hate to be that person, but I hope some of you are aware that not all of the airlines took bailout money, and several airlines didn’t lay-off or furlough anyone( I.e Delta Air Lines, or Southwest). Reading through the comments I see a lot of misinformation being passed around so be sure to “do your googles”.

  5. I finished company training for an airline in Feb. Bail outs are not appropriate. Never have been for any industry.
If an industry needs bailouts than its been improperly managed company to company and the barriers to entry (regulations) are to high. Other wise the poorly managed companies would shut down and new ones, hopefully that won't make the same mistakes, will startup and replace the ones.
Though these are artificial causes, caused by government overreach…they do hold some responsibility. But mostly its people not doing the right thing.

  6. ……..then what was the purpose of getting bailed out?? Oh yea, the money was not for your workers, it was only to buy shares of your own stock and pay high level executive positions.

  7. There is no free market because Everytime they fail, the are being bailed out. Apparently, free market is not working. Government need to involve to balance the system.

  8. who's building out the people that have mortgages food and other essential items.? Why the hell do you not ask for an accounting of what they may be for the pandemic and where that money has gone? If you are behind in your bills, they still expect you to pay the full amount even though you lose your job and to make it worse, the $600 a week that the citizens in this country need is not consistent and is filled with political tieups and red tape. America gives all of these Third World countries billions of dollars and I always think of this analogy, Uncle Sam is a big Playboy older man that gives these young were there were countries money and truths about the caviar and expensive steak dinners while the loyal wife, who has an apron on cleaning the kitchen and keeping up with the housework, which are the US citizens, get the bag-with the leftovers from the date from those dinners when he comes home.
