Hi I have tow deferent case I have full coverage insurance for my car but a tow company tow my car while I parked in legal parking lot so tow company sold my car in action so insurance said that we don’t cover that

Progressive is trying to get me to pay 2k as a deductible for my damages when I’m already paying for full coverage. Should I fight them for it? They also only said they’d help me “pay the difference”, if my damages go over 2k… it sounds pretty ridiculous to me.

No attorney is gonna file a suit over a claim for a few thousand dollars. Also, most consumers are not gonna hire a lawyer for a small lawsuit (i.e the lawyer fee is too high). The insurance companies have the upper hand in these situations and they know it which is why they bully the customer and the repair facilities. If I have this wrong please explain.

What do you do when the lawyer says it won’t pay enough money

Crap like this is why I've drifted away from my hardcore libertarian ideals. I still think our gov is bloated, corrupt and needs downsizing, but going full anarcho-capitalist would be 10 times worse.

Thanks Matt for breaking things down in this video. My sister's vehicle was stolen and vandalized but recovered with severe damages two weeks later. At first the insurance adjuster had agreed to pay the full amount of the estimated damages, but delayed until 9 weeks later she requested for more documents to know whether there may have been any mechanical conditions from when the car was bought up to when it was stolen, Of course there was non. Then the adjuster refused to respond and an one of their appraisers promised to make two third of what the adjuster initially promised and later refused. Two days later, the adjuster emailed her that she's mailing a check that will cover only about 10 percent of the damage cost.
Is it cost worth getting a lawyer for a $2k damage? If so, can a lawyer's cost be charged and paid by the insurance company in the suit? Or can she file a suit by herself considering if she would have to pay a lawyer. Your opinion please.

It's a game you can't win.
The simple solution is to stop paying car insurance. It shouldn't be law to have car insurance because that money just goes into their pockets.

My attorney and I settled at mediation after nearly four years. Settlement was signed by all parties. Now some time has passed….over a month and my attorney has not received the check. Is this a common situation because I am wondering if I will ever get paid?
