I had a broken facet joint fusion and I had to have all new hardware from s1 to L2, L4 was only broke in the back. Hospitals bill was 196,000. Plus I need carpal tunnel surgery on both hands next month. Next week they are putting in a fentanyl pain pump, because of the arthritis pain now. I'm also showing spinal stenosis in my neck from a m.r.i, might need surgery on this too. My pip is run out, but I have Medicare and Medicaid now that I can't work. My bills are around $300k now, I do 2 carpal tunnel surgery $8500, pain pump $35k and neck surgery it's 2 disc could be $75k to 125k. Plus maintenance of a pain pump is $12k a yr p l us they need to be replace every 7 to 10 yrs , that could be 50k ea time. So I'm looking at 600k without lost work, they only have 1 million insurance, but it's a med size company, so if I get a lawyer , they take the rest of the money, so I think I'm better off doing it myself and come out with something?

It's better to be hit by a commercial vehicle vs. a personal vehicle. Way more insurance on the commercial vehicle guaranteed.

It's near impossible to find information on Uber driver injuries. I am an Uber driver who was rear-ended while at a stop sign with a paying passenger in my car. I have had 5 different MRIs and they show trauma. I have to get cortizone shots in my knee from bracing during impact and a hip replacement surgery because of the accident. Plus tons of treatment for my other injuries. I have been off work for more than 3 months now. I feel like I am being put through hell.

I think $260,000 was very good! I was also in a accident with a commercial vehicle. Currently in therapy for some slipped disc and I have a facet join injection coming up. My car was totaled and the other person was at total fault. (There was cameras in the area that captured the accident) he had Zurich insurance. Are they good at paying claims?

Did he really need the additional oxygen? Seems like the oxygen tubes was overdoing it.

How did you find out what company policy did that company have ? I had injuries as a deck hand on a boat and got hit buy a tug boat .
