  1. There's an abundance of people commenting on how they cried, yet I find myself with no tears whatsoever. However this is quite sad, but should I be worried that I didn't cry?

  2. I feel sorry for the father. He obviously loved his daughter to death and would've sacrificed everything he had without even the slightest hint of hesitation to keep her alive and happy, and she didn't stop being an ungrateful little cunt until after he gave his life for her.

This bitch had the audacity to say she wanted a better father when in reality she had the best kind of parent that anybody could ask for.

So he's deaf and mute. So fucking what? That's not something he can control. And even if it was, it's a shitty thing to hold against him. Now, if he was abusive, then this would be a whole different story.

So some little shitbags pick on her because he's deaf and mute. Again, so fucking what? Being bullied is no excuse to be an asshole. If anything, it just makes you worse than the people who were picking on you, unless of course you're just being an asshole right back to them. Golden Rule and all that.

And before anybody gets on my case about that point, I'd like to say that I've been bullied too. From the very first day of kindergarten all the way to the end of the eighth grade. I know what it's like to be in a position where it feels like it's you against the whole world. That ought to make you that much more grateful to the people in your life who care.

But not her. Not until her dad died saving her sorry ass.

She had the audacity to say she wanted a better father, when in reality, it's her father who should've gotten a better daughter. People like her don't deserve even the most minuscule of life insurance payouts.

  3. Out of my own denial I'm filling the ambiguous ending with my own denial and refusal of this sad bullshit: the dad later wakes up to see his daughter who realizes that she should love her dad and then her dad tells her everything he said while in his sleep and happy birth day, a few weeks later they get discharged from the hospital and realize that Thai life insurance covered their bill so they're all good. The end
