ok, so i am 17 and i just bought a car. i live in CA and i really need to find auto insurance for cheap. i know its really expensive for a first time driver to get insurance for themselves, so if anyone knows of an insurance company that does not charge that much i would greatly appreciate a response. thanx
The small, economy version now available in Germany is below $5,000 and that means auto insurance is much cheaper, not to mention all the other savings. No gas, 70% less maintenance, mile for mile it is less than 25% of a standard gasoline car. Not the time for luxury land yachts in these times.
I was with the same insurance company for 10 years using the same local agent. My car insurance rates kept going up every time my policy was renewed. I decided to explore and see what better rates I could get with other car insurance companies. Friends and family gave me names of local agents from insurance companies they used. All the agents quoted me really high. Then, I called a major insurance company’s 800 number (not through an agent) and got the lowest quote. So, why do people use insurance agents? Is there a reason why it’s better to use an agent?

i just got my license today i’m 18 male NY completed drivers ed, i did a couple of quotes online for a cheap old beat up car like a 95 chevy caviler and most of them gave me three thousand dollar 6 month premiums, which is 500$ to 600$ dollars a month for a a piece of junk car! what kind of bull is that?? thats like a month of rent!!!!!!!!!

I hit a guys bumper while driving a company car a couple of years ago and I thought he filed a claim but the company took care of it and I never heard about it again. I’m getting car insurance and I pulled my driving record from the DMV and all I have is a seatbelt violation but no accidents. Is there another database somewhere that insurance companies will check or is it just your DMV record? Maybe this all got settled without insurance intervention and I dont’ want to pay higher fees if its not necessary. Am I in the clear?
They’ve quoted me a price almost $200.00 lower then my current rate- which was the cheapest I could find at the time! But no one’s I know has even heard of the place. The website is travelers.com I believe. Is this legit and worth it?

drive it as the breaks needed fixed. It was drivable. But the breaks were in need of replacing. So I didn’t drive it. But it needed insured. I called the insurance company and they said to bring the car down so they can see it. I was on my way to do that when a lady didnt stop at the stop light and hit my car. Her car got the worse damage. I told the cop I was on my way to get insurance when this happened. Now any insurance company I call is holding it against me that I drove without insurance. Does anyone know of a cheap insurance company ? Im in Illinois. This is the only ticket or accident I have ever had. Im fighting the ticket. Can anyone help? Serious answers only please! ty
I have AAA, and got a DUI ast year, my insurance hasent gone up yet, but I know it will. Do you think AAA will drop me, since they are such a huge company, and will I have to go get some cheap ol’ coverage now? I pay around $125 at the beginning of my policy for the year, then it goes down a little each month, my last payment is around $30, then it starts over again. Ive been w/ them for a few years, w/ a perfect record, until now. The DUI wasnt for alcohol or illegal drugs, it was for prescription medication. I drive a 1 year old volkswagen rabbit, have had one speeding ticket and 1 major accident where I totaled my car(I was deemed at fault although it was BS, she hit me). I was told the accident was my fault because I was making a left hand turn so it automatically becomes my fault. I should have have plenty of time to make the turn but the woman who hit me came out from behind another car and was hauling, she totaled my car in a side impact when the speed limit was 35. I had forgotten my cell phone that day so she was the one who called the police and I could not call anyone for advice on what I was supposed to do. It was my first accident and when the cop showed up I was hysterical crying just because I had been so shaken up. I never got to tell my side of the story because. She actually had told the officer she knew I was not injured even though I had banged up my knee and arm.
I did not go to traffic school for the speeding ticket because I was not going fast enough to get any points on my license. I was going 38 in a 25 woo hoo!
Alright I don’t know too much all I know is I’m determined, I want a car with car insurance on it. My dad has a car in which he is going to let me have and I am going with him next week to get car insurance. What papers do I need to present in order to get the car insurance because I want to be ready. I’m not sure what insurance I want yet but I believe he might be putting the insurance in his name and mine being that I am a young driver.
Do the branches have their insurances? I’m going into the Air Force and my recruiter actually said they do and is cheaper. I just want to know more details about it if anyone has the knowledge. Thank you
