Why aren't they just made to register the insurance tot he licence plate? and then no one needs to carry insurance slips or phones

I am not as concerned for police knowing whats on my phone compared to someone I don't know or have never met to get my personnel info on my phone . And people want to double down and put everything on your phone , health cards , license , insurance , car ownerships and everything else in one convenient spot . Someone hacking your phone now has immediate access to everything equivalent to loosing your wallet . Some hacker with the right skill set will have your identity by weeks end , a person would be naive if you don't thing this is currently possible ..

And just as you unlock your phone, the battery runs out …. and you forgot your in-car charger…
