Used to go to Atco Dragway in N.J. back in the 70's to watch the funny cars run. Saw Jungle Jim & Jungle Pam there. Man . . . she was hot! As much of a show stopper as the funny cars were. Gotta luv em both. R.I.P. JJ Much respect!

100% agree with the loss of entertainment value in the sport. No one has fun if it's handled like a business and the track or race is shut down over the tiniest safety precaution. I have only gone back to the track once since Covid shut everything down and the way we fans were treated made me sick to my stomach. Couldn't sit with friends(vaxxed/not vaxxed)couldn't tour pits, concession closed, etc. I'm sure our local is pretty much done. They can't even run a full weekend every two or three weeks it's that bad. NHRA shoulders pretty much all the blame. Big Money usually does. There's nothing reckless or dangerous about it anymore and as a biker I've noticed the same about Sturgis and Daytona Bike Weeks. NASCAR has also gone that route as has F1. I guess since I turned 60 I sound like a grumpy old piss but I worked hard and earned the right to bitch. The EVs are really going to put the nail in the coffin of Drags and bike rallies. Gimme' fuel, gimme' fire! Thank you Jungle Pam for telling it like it is! Thanks for listening.
