pls guide me on uk car insurance, i havnt bought a car yet,but just wish to get an approximate idea of what my insurance cost might be if i buy a car which could be worth 5000 pounds, 2lt engine plus. i am male, 39yrs, my first driving licence was in india in yr 2002 and its still with me plus i got a uk driving licence in yr 2022. i just want a guess work from you, how much could be my insurance

You forgot to say negotiate with your current insurance provider as they have your details already they might offer lower rate cost. ????

I have to disagree on a couple of pointers. Adding a female driver tends to reduce the premium even if she does not drive regularly. I got lower quotes when giving higher mileage as opposed to lower.

What about private hire insurance?
