1hr for 15 min no thx
Great informative video, but i think I've just been turned off of buying an EV . What a faff , so much easier to put gas in
Buy a gas car and you eliminate this issue LOL
This is 2023 and I have a KIA EV6 I charge at home at night, so it's good for me! but when I have gone to those charge points those take a long time because they don't have a fast charger, but When I use a fast charger I can get up to 80% or more for 30-35 minutes for like $10 with Electrify
?? This is going to be the best excuse ever for cheaters (justification for lost time) and hookers will also have a new avenue for targeted paying customers who obviously have more money if driving a Tesla. ????? The possibilities for misconduct are endless!!!! Can't wait for the videos to start surfacing
Someone probably already put this in here, but I'll add it anyway: CHAdeMO CHArge de MOve and is a pun for “O cha demo ikaga desuka.” in Japanese, meaning
“Let's have a cup of tea while charging.” With a 5 kW charge rate, it's more like "Let's go on vacation," although, the CHAdeMO was 50 kW, which if 100 people from the apartment complex are trying to charge at the same time, that's still impractical.
It seems like EV's are only good to drive from charging station to another charging station.
You can now drive one mile,to the next charging station.
There is not a single chargepoint locations where I live. It's really quite convenient, LMFAO
Only at Costco.
Wow 1 hour for 16 miles of range?! ? ????
Sounds like there's plenty of charging stations. So Xo Bi Den doesn't really need to spend $50 billion for the 500,000 charging stations. But he'll find some way to launder that money some how.
This was my experience charging my car at charge point in Barstow Ca I paid
0 .69 cents per kWh on a Sunday I got 35 mls for $6.54 , I have a Ford Fusion Hybrid that gives me 40 plus mls per gal , and the gas price was around 5.50 more or less so , the cheapest price to charge is around 0.43 cents for around 4 mls per KWh so 200 mls times 50 KWh is $ 21.50 at low peak hours , now to run 200 mls in my hybrid at 40 mls is 5 gallons an now gas is under $4 .00 here where I leave and you know on peak we are going to pay more to charge outside our home . To me ev cars are good but for travel no way the prices and infrastructure sucks
All you go green nerds. Did you save the planet from fossil emissions. No! You are still using fossil fuel to charge your EVs. Oh yeah. When your batteries have to be replaced the pollution generated to mine the minerals for your batteries is off the charts. Not to mention the hazardous waste you just produced with your old batteries. I wonder what land fill they will end up in. And don’t say that they are recycled. 100 percent of your waste from those old batteries in not recyclable. The lithium and other minerals used in those batteries cannot be recycled. Yup that’s right you just produced as much if not more pollution as some one who drives a fossil burning car!
I have a Prius Prime. I plug in nightly and my range for gas is 550 miles @55mpg. I get all electric 19 miles 210 wall outlet. 11.4 gallon tank. $3.00 a gallon=$34.20. takes less than 5 minutes to fill. I think I have the best deal out there.
We barely have any in the Midwest. Chicago has some. It's getting better, but if you go out to the suburbs, none.
exactamundoally way too many variables to drive an electric car, stick with fuel type car , or a hybrid, unless you want to be stranded in the cold weather as many are finding out ~ its just that simple
This is why full electric vehicles are not quite ready for mainstream yet. PHEV’s in my opinion are though. Short 30-40 miles of in city electric driving range and great MPG for farther trips.
The whole system is designed for cities. Here in Australia Forget it over 90 percent of the country. Stick to fossil fuel!!!!
1 hr for only 16 miles range? I'll stick with gas even if it cost more.
New Teslas now have the ability for CCS Combo 1 with an adapter from Tesla. My ‘23 Mdl 3 is capable according to Tesla and therefore lets me buy the adapter via the Tesla Store when I log in.
