In our opinion, each new edition of Health Wonk Review is an opportunity to celebrate great health policy blogging. But this week, we’re celebrating a little harder with the We’re Ten! Edition of HWR.

The edition recognizes Colorado Health Insurance Insider’s impressive tenth anniversary of blogging. Yes … back in 2007, when then-Senator Barack Obama was calling for universal healthcare, Louise Norris was beginning her illustrious career in wonkery.

If you watch news coverage of Obamacare’s health insurance marketplaces at all, you know Louise is an oft-interviewed expert. And, if you read this site at all, you know Louise is our single most prolific contributor of blog posts, author of responses to frequently asked questions, and always-helpful source of advice when frustrated consumers write us, asking for direction. She’s also authored two great guides to open enrollment and special enrollment periods.

So we salute Louise and her awesome work and hope you’ll shower some praise on her as well. And at the same time, we urge you to check our her round-up this week.  (Thanks, as always, to Louise for including us.)
