i grew up in Soth Florida and the local independent VW repair shop had a Bus they shortened as their shop truck and the driver could reach back and touch the rear window they also had a Surf board and cool paint job it was pretty neat seeing that all over town they also put a boat on a dune buggy chassis and i was down there a few years ago and some realtor was using that as a promotional vehicle over 35 years later i asked a freind and he said oh yeah she drives that ugly thing all the time i love the Wheelie bars on that old Bus he did a great job on the shortening of that one
