    I only get option for accident rider while purchasing the plan but not critical insurance please guide me.

  9. I accidentally fallen down from running train sustained severe multiple injuries. Subsequently, my Left hand was amputated above the elbow and four finger's/toes of the left leg were also amputated.

    Now can I eligible to claim under accidentall death and disability rider .please suggest to me

    There is query about Critical illness rider benefit

    That, in the list of critical illness, paralysis is covered with below condition

    Paralysis : (condition is as under )

    Total and irreversible loss of use of two or more limbs as a result of injury or disease of the brain or spinal cord.
    A specialist medical practitioner must be of the opinion that the paralysis will be permanent with no hope of recovery and must be present for more than 3 months.

    Query:

    If insured suffered from paralysis (e.g. Hemiplegia I.e. one hand and one leg get paralised), but within 3 month after treatment as well as physiotherapy if he can able to move his leg only but unable to walk properly, then In this case what medical practitioners will say – its a hope of recovery or no hope of recovery ?

    In this scenario is insured person can eligible to get benefit of critical insurance policy or it will be treated as partly recovered or may be recover in future and will not be eligible for benefit.
