Awesome, brings back memories of my youth and the whole family driving from southern VT to Epping Dragway in 1970 through 1973 I have old 8MM film of Jungle Jim , Tommy Ivo, Dick Landy, Color Me Gone!! Even Jungle Jim's Vega Wagon pro stock that I've only seen on my 8MM and never in a magazine .?

@mango hombre the track is run by the bader family  the track has been around for over 60 yrs its summit motorsports park in norwalk ohio its home to the nhra summit racing equipment narionals&  the night under fire. The Night Under Fire itself is  the largest single day drag racing event in the country  ive been to it many  the name that draws the crowd is john force and his funny car team and then they get like 3 or 4 more teams to match race its one drag race you got to attend .?

I crack a smile remembering those day's. Better yet we have street cars running those times or faster with a small block and couple of turbo chargers.?

I remember Mark driving for Candies & Hughes back when I was a little kid growing up.  That is how he learned about being a crew chief when working under Leonard Hughes.  Now he's one of the best crew chiefs out there.  And it's good to see him driving sometimes.?
